At CSTLC Carmarthen, we believe that every young person deserves the chance to succeed in a supportive, understanding, and inclusive environment. As a Secondary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), we provide a tailored educational experience for learners who may face challenges in mainstream school settings.

A Trauma-Informed and Restorative Approach
We are proud to be a trauma-informed setting. We recognise how adverse experiences can affect a young person’s behaviour, learning, and wellbeing. Our staff are trained to respond with empathy, consistency, and care—creating a safe and predictable environment where pupils feel valued and understood.
Alongside this, we embed restorative practices throughout our school culture. We believe in building, maintaining, and repairing relationships through open dialogue, mutual respect, and accountability.
